This poem is for Hannah Fox, a young poet herself, who asked her Auntie Belinda to write her a poem. It doesn't rhyme, but I hope it will do!
It was night, dark night, or so I thought,But something drew me to the window on my way to bed.
And there to my surprise a snowfall was in process,
A world of wonder that I nearly missed,
My camera quickly found, I flung the window wide,
And in my thin nightclothes I caught my breath.
One shot, two, and then another,
Trying hard to capture the beauty of the night.
Happily I found, that one at least came close,
And I could go at last to bed, content.

A beauty well captured. Isn't God so amazing not only did he give us the snow and the tree to look at, but also the special moment in which to see it's beauty intensified with the two together on that occasion. Everyday is new and fresh and full of gifts from our heavenly father. In this picture you can see the Father of Lights.

Thanks Casdok. I know you from Dave's blog and your blog looks fascinating too. Welcome to ajournalinphotos!
Thank you Hannah, for pulling these lovely words out of your Auntie Belinda. Of course it needed a poem to go with it!
How about you writing one now?
