This is another of the frosty and exquisite miniatures left behind on my window pane last week after a storm. Each of them was a work of art with a brief life span. There is no sign of them now, except the images I captured.

They are a metaphor for things in life that we imagine we can hold onto. We really "own" nothing, and everything is fleeting in its very essence. The secret is to enjoy the moment; to appreciate the beauty spread before our eyes.
