Gray Day
A morning meeting took me far from the fields and woods of Bond Head to downtown Mississauga where buildings loomed high in the misty gray sky. Even so I could see beauty in the shades of gray and the textures of cement and brick.
HI Belinda, I like this one too. If you check on Holy Experience, Ann has been taking a photography course and has written about learning how rain highlights colors and objects in the photo. And of course there's a metaphor there too. Your photo shows that with the rain. Did you get out of your car at a stop light or hang out your window. Wish I'd been there to see. :-) Ang
Hi Ang, I took the photo from inside the car, through the window when stopped at a light. A few minutes before as I drove down the highway, the buildings truly had loomed like gray giants in the mist. Unfortunately I couldn't take a photograph while driving!
I'm glad you liked the photo. I'll check out Holy Experience, thanks for letting me know about Ann's course.
