When we were in England last fall, Paul visited the Royal Worcester factory outlet store in Worcester. The Royal Worcester factory has sadly closed down, a victim of the economic slump I believe. There among shelves of left over odds and ends he found this saucerless cup. It was made in 1941 and waited for 68 years for someone who had eyes to see its beauty. It sits on a cherrywood writing box in a room where I sit often. It is loved and admired.
