Sunset at Sobey's
Our local Sobey's parking lot faces west, and so often, rushing home at the end of a day, I am stopped dead in my tracks by the sheer breathtaking beauty en route to my car. So it was tonight, and as I packed my groceries into my trunk, I remembered my camera hung across my chest. As I paused to take various shots of the sky, another woman shouted across, "Beautiful, isn't it?" and both of us celebrated the sunset together. My beautiful moment for today.

First Snow 2
We had just come home from Geneva Park, where the last golden leaves of Autumn clung to the trees with stubborn but weakening determination. On Thursday afternoon, across the fields, came an army of tiny snow soldiers, gathering strength in their multitudes and hiding the hills as they grew in number.
